From July 4th (FRI) to July 6th (SUN) we will be hosting the fifth year of Moment: three days of incredible sound and atmosphere experienced in the pristine mountains of Tenkawa Village, Nara.

As we celebrate the 5th anniversary of MOMENT, once again we are honored to host this special event in a truly unique and sacred location. Tenkawa Village, surrounded by the majestic Mt. Ōmine, has deeply spiritual roots. As a World Heritage site, the village’s importance as a place of worship and pilgrimage extends back at least 1300 years.

The Moment team has always been committed to delivering an experience that goes beyond the ordinary – but since this year marks an important milestone for us, we guarantee that Moment 2025 will blow even festival veterans away!

Expect to be immersed in top-level musical performances, otherworldly visuals, breathtaking decorations, and an enhanced sound system that will transform the venue into a living, breathing space. We are redesigning each area—from the main stages to the food and art spaces—to create a magical environment that will transport you to another world.

This year, we are also introducing a new auto-camping area, offering an even more immersive way to connect with nature. Additionally, we will host a variety of workshops, and as always, we will have a family-friendly kids’ area with professional childcare staff, ensuring that the entire family can enjoy the event.

We look forward to welcoming you to MOMENT 2025. We can’t wait to for you to experience what we have planned! See you on the dancefloor!

Moment Bus Information

This is a round-trip bus service. The only stops for the bus are Shin-Osaka Station and the event venue.

Please pay close attention to bus departure times if you plan to use this service.

Tickets can be purchased from the dedicated ZAIKO page linked to in our profile.

Shin-Osaka Station Boarding Location

The bus departs from the bus parking area on the south side of the terminal, located on the ground floor. It is about a 3-minute walk from the South Exit ticket gates of Shin-Osaka Station.

Look for the “Nara Kotsu Kanko Bus” and have your ticket screen ready for verification before boarding.

【 Access 】

For those coming by car:

If you input "Forest in Dorogawa" into the car navigation or into Google Maps, you might be taken on a rather busy and complicated route through the mountains.

Instead, if you take Route 309 and then Route 21, the drive will be much more comfortable, with wider roads and slightly less traffic.

Both routes take about the same time.

To take the 2nd route, simply input "かどや食堂 (kadoyashokudou)" or the telephone number (0747-63-0603) into the navigation system.

Exit at the Gosho-minami IC of the Keinawa Expressway, turn right and go south on Route 309 past Shimoichi Town, Yoshino-gun, Nara Prefecture.

Do NOT turn at the south end of Sengoku Bridge, but continue on Route 309 through the Shin-Kasagi Tunnel and Shin-Kawai Tunnel to Tenkawa Village.

Turn left at the Kawai intersection in Tenkawa Village and take Route 21 to Dorogawa.

Shuttle bus from Osaka:

There will be several buses leaving from Shin-Osaka  in Osaka to the festival grounds.

Parking spaces are limited this year, so we HIGHLY recommend coming by bus or carpooling with others.

For those taking the Kintetsu limited express, get off at Shimoichiguchi station on the Yoshino Line.

From Osaka Abenobashi, take the limited express bound for Yoshino to Shimoichiguchi station (approx. 60min).

From Kyoto, take the Kashihara Jingumae limited express bound for Kashihara Jingumae.

Change trains at Kashihara Jingumae station and take the Yoshino limited express bound for Yoshino to Shimoichiguchi station (approx. 80min).

From Shimoichiguchi station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus (bound for Dorogawa Onsen) and get off at Dorogawa Onsen (approx. 80min).

Buses bound for Dorogawa Onsen make 6 round trips per day during the period from May to October.

From the Dorogawa Onsen bus stop to Forest In Dorogawa is 1.5 km, and a special shuttle bus will be available.

The walk takes 20 minutes.

【Important Notes】

*Departure times are strictly scheduled and it will NOT wait for any late arrivals. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before departure.

*If you miss the bus, refunds will not be provided.

*Arrival times may be delayed due to traffic conditions.

*Please plan your schedule with ample buffer time.

  1. Prohibited activities The following is a list of prohibited activities at the festival. Please read it carefully so that Moment can continue to be a comfortable and safe space for everyone.
    • Bringing alcoholic beverages into the venue. Please get your drinks at the bar.
    • Setting up tents in areas other than those specified by your tent site ticket. If found, you WILL be asked to move. Seriously, please don’t do this. It really sucks to make people move their tents in the middle of the festival...
    • Unauthorized sales or commercial activities inside or outside the venue and parking lots.
    • Open fires outside of designated campfire tent sites, as well as using any cooking devices other than gas stoves or gas burners (BBQ grills and charcoal stoves are allowed in campfire tent sites).
    • Using musical instruments or portable speakers at any time during the festival.
    • Bringing in items prohibited by law. If discovered, the police will be notified immediately, and the individual will be handed over to authorities.
    • Engaging in activities that endanger others, such as using fireworks.
    • Unauthorized recording of the performances.
    • leaving infants or children unattended during the festival.
Anyone found engaging in these prohibited actions will be asked to leave the premises immediately. We’re serious about this. Bad behavior endangers our festival and its future continuance, so please respect the above regulations.

  2. Additional Information
    • Video recording will take place at the event, and attendees may appear in the footage. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation and we will try our best to ensure the filming does not disrupt your enjoyment of the music.
    • The organizers and performers are not responsible for any accidents, incidents, theft, or injuries that occur inside or outside the venue.
    • Please act responsibly and deal with any accidents or injuries between individuals on your own. The organizers and performers will not mediate or resolve disputes between attendees.
    • The event will proceed in case of rain but will be canceled in case of severe weather. If the event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, the ticket fees will NOT be refunded.
    • No refunds or reissues will be provided for changes in start times, performance cancellations, interruptions, or early terminations due to natural disasters or unforeseen accidents.
    • Travel and accommodation costs will not be compensated if the event is canceled.
    • Refunds for cancellations will not include ticket purchasing fees or bank transfer fees.
    • Those who do not follow staff instructions or engage in disruptive behavior will be forcibly removed from the venue. No ticket refunds will be provided in such cases. Please be respectful of others so that everyone can enjoy the festival to the fullest!
